Live2D artist and rigger custom PC build
"A custom PC build for Live2D artists and riggers. Explaining the hardware specs needed for smooth modeling. Perfect for creator PC builds."
I used to work on a Mac, but the freezing during rigging and lag in the physics window were major issues. My new custom PC has completely solved these problems. While a Ryzen 7 and RTX 5060 would have been plenty, I was able to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 and RTX 5070 for just a small price difference. I got really lucky. I’m not into flashy RGB lighting, so it looks "boring," but I’m very happy with this build.

Which PC Component Should You Prioritize?
CPU > GPU > RAM
CPU
When choosing a CPU, please select relatively new models and generations. Generally, choose one with a higher clock frequency, with more cores and threads.
GPU
Choose relatively new models and generations, and select GPUs with higher clock frequencies and larger memory.
RAM
At least 16GB, 32GB would be even better.
